The Objects and Purposes of the Association, as stated in the Application for Incorporation, are:

Any activity or communication relating to the encouragement of lifewide learning. Membership of the Association is available to any person from any country involved in research or projects, either as a leader or participant, towards personal enrichment and community/environmental care.

There is no membership fee for the Association so that any educators and students can freely choose to join and network towards the encouragement of lifewide learning.

IAFLL has a committee of volunteers who give of their time to coordinate the activities of the Association. The present list of committee members may be viewed at Structure Committee

Since committee members come from many different countries, only one formal meeting is held each year. However, committee members are in regular communication by email and other forums. The minutes of previous meetings are available at Meetings Minutes

Elections for committee positions are held annually and any member can indicate their desire to nominate for any position. An advance notice of forthcoming elections is included on the website and all registered members are notified of the process in advance by email.

Any person wishing to join the committee is encouraged to contact the Association via membership@iafll.org
